Affiliates Insurance Reciprocal, a Risk Retention Group is a Vermont-domiciled reciprocal risk retention group formed for the purpose of providing medical professional liability and other liability insurance coverages to its subscribers. AIR was licensed in 2009 as a Vermont reciprocal insurance company and as a federal risk retention group under the Federal Liability Risk Retention Act of 1986. As such, AIR is authorized to direct write liability lines of business in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
